Always shredding and having a good time. He also just sent us some fun photos of him skating in the Kurbrik’s since the snow is not here yet. Check it!
Kevin Windham finished a strong 5th place overall at the toughest track of the year. The track was super beat and the sand was as deep as ever at the Southwick national. Kevin was stoked to score another top 5 finish but is looking for a podium before the last race.
Quote by Windham after the race. How was the sand? “Horrible!” How were the goggles? “Amazing!”

A jam packed week of shenanigans from Rob’s Fantasy Factory party in downtown LA, to VIP access tour at X Games 16, hanging poolside at the SPY mansion, riding moto at Pala Raceway, hot laps at K-1 Speedway, surfing with the Transworld Surf crew, sushi with overflowing saki bombs, to Surf Bowl in Oceanside, boating and shredding at the Carlsbad lagoon, an afterparty at Zenbu and everything else rolled in between.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE—Carlsbad, CA—Tuesday, August 24th, 2010—The SPY family is pleased to congratulate and celebrate SPY’s legendary MC “King of Supercross,” seven-time AMA Supercross Champion Jeremy McGrath as he will be inducted into The Twenty Second Annual Motorsports Hall of Fame of America. MC will accept this honor at The Fillmore in Detroit, Michigan, on Wednesday evening, August 25th 2010.
Jeremy has been an ambassador and a huge part of the SPY brand since 1995 and continues to push SPY to the next level. His vibrant energy, charisma and talent are unmatched and we’re amped to go full throttle for 2011 by celebrating MC’s 11th SPY signature moto goggle.
With the September release of the “Throwback MC11” in the Klutch model, SPY is thrilled to have its favorite son honored in the Motorsports Hall of Fame. Jeremy’s 11th signature goggle features a triple row silicone, black face fleece, green vent covers, a signature MC print on the smoke with green mirror lens and to top it all off includes a free bonus lens! Jeremy’s retro design was inspired by his first SPY MX goggle season that put him on track for fame and for the world to welcome his greatness with open arms.
Jeremy never ceases to amaze us and we are proud to join with him the highest honor Motorsports has to offer.
Stay tuned for full coverage as Fuel TV will be filming his special induction into an episode of FIRST HAND.
Today Gymkhana will be dropping the first part of their third film, we thought since we are a part of the “Block Party” now that we should take a roll in helping blast this out to the masses, since we know everyone is going to love it. This video is next level. Check out the “Cool Kids” rocking our Tice shade as well as Ken rocking our Murena’s and Kubriks. Keep checking back for the next part of the video and check in on our facebook fan page for the play by play. Big shout out to DC for making this all happen.
Long Island MX was a fun event with a bunch of top riders like Grant Langston, Travis Pastrana, Tevin Tapia, Davi Millsaps, Martin Davalos, and Derek Anderson. This is the second annual L.I. MX race and it was packed with over 5,000 fans. Red Bull had a big presence with their own Sky Divers, Travis Pastrana doing some freestyle, and a great after party with a limo bus and all.
Jeremy designed the track at this amazing location in the mountains of Utah. He won every moto he raced this past weekend and he is now on his way to Chicago to be inducted into the motorsports hall of fame.
Last year’s inaugural Powder Mt. MX drew an astounding thousand entries and 15,000 fans – which made this the largest outdoor motocross event in the history of the great State of Utah. Sculpted into the 8,000-foot elevation Powder Mt. ski runs, the amazing vistas and pure air of Utah’s north country make for a highly memorable MX experience.
