SPY’s Kevin Windham Featured in the Union Tribune

February 9th, 2010

SPY’s Kevin Windham put on a stellar performance at the local San Diego SX this past weekend and despite his shortcoming to the podium he always ends the race with a huge grin. The San Diego Union Tribune caught up with Kevin for a few and discussed his passion for the sport.

Although some may consider him a candidate for the motorcross retirement home, at age 32 Windham states it is his experience in the sport that allows him to have a more optimistic approach and fuels his passion for riding more than ever before. Windham states “The keys are staying upright, being smooth and consistent, and smiling.”

Keep up the good work Kevin!

Kevin Windham was riding awesome and was in the top 3 for most of the race. With only 2 laps to go Windhams bike broke while in 4th place. Windham was bummed about the bike breaking as he could have made up some valuable points.
