Nick Rrupp does it again! In the 2010 ESA Eastern Championships Nick wons his 3rd consecutive Mens Championship title. To add to this Nick has won 5 consective titles in the ESA Easterns Championships. Five for five is a hard one to beat. Exiting while on top Nick has decided to make this his last ESA event. Yeah Rupp-tion good job, get our while your hot!
Freestyle.ch is the biggest freestyle Event in Europe. 20,000 spectators watch sports like Snowboarding, Freeskiing, FMX and Skate Vert. The whole thing is in the open air. So guess what happened?!
Someone up there was making fun of that and let it rain for 24 hours straight. Very Important Persons (like me) could hide under special tents, but his gets boring after a while, so I decided to check out some action. Gian-Luca Cavigelli snuck into the snowboard competition. Unfortunately he couldn’t land his Backside 10 Doublecork properly and couldn’t qualify for the final on Sunday.
The Spy booth was the place to be, right behind the miniramp, where people could play amusement park like games, win tons of stuff and get a poster signed by riders. Even with the rain there were stones of people enjoying the good show, video premiers and the vibe in general. After the event, everyone went to the “Afterburner Party” which Spy sponsored.
