Yesterday was the last day of the Waist Deep Trip and everyone ready to step it up and start pushing themselves. We rode pow until 3, just jumping cliffs, launching anything we saw, and slaying open bowls of endless powder. It was the perfect ending to an amazing trip. After shredding we packed up the outbacks and drove back to Whitefish, Montana. By the time we got to Whitefish everyone’s belly’s were grumbling, so we hit an amazing steak house were the beef is so fresh, I swear they were cut it off the cow right out back. On the way back to the hotel from the steak house we spotted a bowling ally, so I mean, we couldn’t pass bowling up. All in all it was hands down an amazing trip. I would like to thank all the Retailers, Consumers, and especially Powder Cowboy for showing us one of the best times we have ever had.

After a long day of shredding the gnar, it was time to do what we do best.. Eat and drink. Some how we all showed up to dinner in flannels, which turned the night into a flannel theme, so if you didn’t have one, you got heckled until you did. The chef here at Powder Cowboy is out of hand. All his dishes are amazing in look, and even better in taste. This place is a true paradise. After the dinner, the ski came back out, the flannel crew started hitting shots down.

Today was day one for the Waist Deep Event. We all woke up and early, met the guides, learned all about the safety on the mountain, then shredded pow!! The snow was amazing, we had gotten about 10 inches of fresh, on top of the other fresh the received before we got here. So it was bottom-less. I am going to let the photos do the talking for me! Enjoy

For everyone who doesn’t know, our huge winter boot camp is taking place up at Powder Cowboy. We flew into Montana yesterday, and then drove up into the land of the white north aka Canada. After a two hour drive, we meet the crew at PC and,, well just jumped right into the swing of things. Here are some photos to entertain.
SPY Ski team rider Wiley Miller and the Level 1 Productions team were all set to shred in Russia this season but last minute changes landed the crew in Champery, Switzerland. In between fondue and hot chocolate breaks the crew managed to get some killer footy to capture the two week excursion. So grab a cup of Swiss Miss and check out Wiley’s segment!
Spy Am, Colin Spencer is stepping up to the plate. He has been out there everyday this season, chucking his meat carcass, just getting every trick dialed in and putting them in his bag. Here are two videos of him sending it like a pro. Keep your eyes out for this young-en, he is about to blow up!

Gusty winds and heavy storms hightailed their way through the European Freeski Open forcing organizers to cancel its March 5th main freeski event in Laax, Switzerland. Alternatively organizers in the later afternoon unleashed the Stair Rail Battle down in the valley at the rockresort. Despite the last minute change up and harsh elements JF Houle crushed the comp yet again with a nose butter 450 on, pretzel 270 out.
JF has been on fire the past few weeks, also taking first in the L.A. Session at Les Arcs and 3rd at the Austrian Open at the Kitzsteinhorn Mellow Park.
“It’s been a very good trip for me. I can’t ask much more then 3 podiums in 3 weeks!” says JF.
