Growing up on the Big Island of Hawaii and surfing, paddling, swimming, snorkeling and sailing in the ocean here as well as snowboarding and skiing on the top of Mauna Kea, I’ve been constantly surrounded by and actively participate in the activities Spy sunglasses support. I couldn’t represent this company better, which is what inspired me to become the next “Spy Hawaiian Bombshell Model”. I have been a successful model in Hawaii for the past year, doing work locally as well as internationally. I have a positive attitude and great communication skills allowing me to be a great ambassador for Hawaii, as well as a great representative for Spy sunglasses. Having been wearing Spy sunglasses for the past couple years I feel that I have a special appreciation for the product, which will help me to communicate Spy Sunglasses qualities and features better than anyone.
I hope to be given this opportunity to become the next “Spy Hawaiian Bombshell Model”; I am a powerful role model for a healthy, active, positive lifestyle.
When asked how Hannah found out about the contest she said, “My mom saw a poster in a surf shop on the Big Island (Big Island Surf Co.) and called me and told me about it.”
Spy would like to thank Big Island Surf Co. and Hannah’s Mom for spreading the ‘Aloha’!
Hannah will be shooting with Spy in mid-November on Oahu for Spy’s Spring/Summer 2010 sunglass campaign.
Stay tuned for updates, pictures and the making of a beautiful relationship…
For a Wednesday night in downtown San Diego, the Keep A Breast charity event rolled out the red velvet ropes for a great evening with lines to get into the venue accompanied by packed crowds. The air was crisp and fresh for a fun outdoor art event at the rooftop of the Hard Rock Hotel. The KAB Foundation was amped to see a huge turnout. Attendees enjoyed the numerous artists’ who displayed their best artwork, live bands, dj beats and raffle prizes from surfboards, sunglasses to shoes and much more. Spy’s Mike Losness was all smiles…
Thanks to all for attending for a great cause!

The Cricket Campus Rail Jam tour made its 9th stop at the USC campus in Los Angeles, CA this past Friday, April 24th. The college snow and ski rail jam exhibition allowed contestants to show off their steez and skills at USC’s frat row. Special guests Spy’s Todd Richards, Tony Alva and crew were MCing during the competition.
The college kids enjoyed an entertaining afternoon at the jam, nabbing free schwag from its tour sponsors, making a trip to the ‘photobooth,’ the after party concert entailed…hosted by USC’s Sigma Chi fraternity, their Derby Days event–an annual charity event to raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, a Children’s Miracle Network affiliated hospital. Luck1, LMFAO and headliner Austin-based Ghostland Observatory played in the backyard of the frat. Let’s just say they had a HUGE sand pit beer garden complimented by some A-mazing bbq being cooked up. Ahh…college days!

Spy’s Mike Losness will be one of the many contributing artists that will be displaying their artwork at the Breast of Both Worlds charity event at the San Diego Hard Rock Hotel on April 29th.
This following Sat and Sunday marked the last weekend for Bear Mountain Resort in Big Bear, Ca. With a small of amount of fresh snowfall going into Saturday, the snow was unexpectedly good with great coverage for late season riding. The opening reception of WE-ME-US was held at the ARTery @ The LAB in Costa Mesa this past Saturday evening. WE-ME-US consists of four very talented female artists including Danielle Petach, Sophie St-Onge, Megan Brainard-Villa and Lindsay Dorey. I wanted to purchase at least four pieces but restrained myself and only made one purchase by artist Sophie St-Onge. All the artists have very different styles and all are truly unique. The exhibit will be on display now until April 19, 2009.
Visit http://www.we-me-us.com for some of the artists pieces and stop by The ARTery for the real thing…quite a few pieces have already been sold.
