Transworld Surf has been putting the final touches on their latest movie release, High Five, and will be premiering it along the entire East Coast through the month of July. Wade Goodall has one of the 5 starring roles in the film and it is sure to be a banger. Here are the remaining dates left for the East Coast premieres July 23rd NY, July 24th Newport, RI, July 25th Hampton, NH,July 26th Cape Cod, MA. Wade will be there for those dates. It’s that time of year again when surfing celebrates it’s most memerable momments as well as who is the year’s favorite surfers by popular vote.
Spy’s surfers that were up for nomination were Alana Blanchard top 5 womens, Wade Goodall for best male performance and best maneuver in Billabong’s Still Filthy and Mitch Coleborn for best maneuver in Volcom’s BS!
When the drinks stopped pouring and crowd left to the after parties it was Alana Blancahrd that ended up taking home a 5th place. Top 5 women is an excellent accomplishment. Congrat Alana!

Summer maybe be over. Groms maybe back in school. The sales maybe a little down and your local surf breaks maybe a little less crowded but that doesn’t mean it’s slowing down for the surf industry.
September kicks off with ASR (ActionSports Retailer) which is where all the comapnies get together and show there new products to all the surf retailers in the US and Canada.
After that the WCT (World Championship Tour) shows up at Lower Trestles, San Clemente for stop number 6 the Hurley Pro. As I write this the event is still going on…
In between that the Surfer Polls took place. It’s kind of our Acadamy Awards. That was last night and it was blast!

A lot of the guys on the WCT are extremely focused on doing well. Some times it can drive them crazy thinking about contest results and who they are surfing against. Dean found a healthy distraction in golf. He's been playing for 6 months now and loves the change scenery.
